Ingredients

  • 6-8 ounces skinned salmon fillets.
  • Grape seed oil or olive oil (2 tablespoons)
  • 2 tablespoons of freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 lemon, cut into slices

Instructions

Step 1

Prepare the grill at high heat of 450°F-550°F.

Step 2

Lightly coat the meaty side of the salmon fillets with oil and season evenly with salt and pepper.

Step 3

Fry the salmon, skin side down, directly on high heat with the lid closed for about 6-8 minutes or until the fish lightens, you can remove the fillets from the cooking grate without sticking.

Step 4

Turn salmon over and cook at 150°F or medium rare for about 2-3 minutes or longer for desired doneness.

Step 5

Remove to a plate to rest for 3-4 minutes. Slide the salmon skin off the fillets and serve with lemon wedges and a tartar or cucumber dill dressing. Easy grilled salmon recipe is ready. Enjoy your meal!
